Velocity supports founders during the riskiest and earliest time of business building. 14 years of experience helped us hone on the most effective ingredients for success: supplying teams with connections, practical and authentic business expertise, product development know-how, space to build a team and develop products cost-effectively, and risk-tolerant capital.
Our Incubator can host 40-60 early-stage (seed and pre-seed) startups while our campus operations help support and inspire 5,000+ entrepreneurial students per year.

Velocity offers a variety of programs to support University of Waterloo students and researchers interested in entrepreneurship.
Through our efforts on campus we nurture a strong pipeline of founders ready to integrate our Velocity incubator directly from Canada’s top university for founders (source: Pitchbook).
We are also building a future generation that can impact Canada’s Innovation Ecosystem beyond startup founders, from small and medium businesses owners to “intrapreneurs”.
