What is the Coop Problem Award?

Velocity and Co-operative Education are pleased to offer students the opportunity to win a  tuition scholarship of $500. The Velocity Co-op Problem Award is earned by providing the best analysis of an important problem relevant to a co-op employer or the employer’s industry. The Award is provided by the Velocity. Winners are chosen at the sole discretion of Velocity, and Velocity reserves the right to decline to award a prize if the submissions are inadequate. The deadline will normally be about six weeks from the beginning of each semester – see the website for the actual deadline.

Eligibility & selection criteria:

Co-op students with an interest in conducting analysis of a problem that is of strategic or systemic importance to one of their co-op employers

Level:

Year One, Year Two, Year Three, Year Four

Program

Open to any program. The deadline will normally be about six weeks from the beginning of each semester – see the website for the actual deadline.
