Velocity Gets More Funding, Thanks to an Angel

Entrepreneur and angel investor Mike Stork has generously donated $1 million to Velocity. The great news was made public today in a press release from the University of Waterloo. The donation has inspired the University to grow the Velocity Fund, which means many more years of Velocity Fund competitions, and ultimately more funding in the hands of promising startups and entrepreneurial up-and-comers.
