Record number of attendees kick off Spring term at Velocity Mixer

Close to 200 students from across all University of Waterloo faculties attended Velocity’s Innovation Ecosystem Mixer yesterday, a chance for the entrepreneurial-minded to network and learn about Velocity, and other departments in the University entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Velocity and representatives from Grebel Peace Incubator, GreenHouse, and Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business outlined the many resources and programs available to University of Waterloo students interested in entrepreneurship and attendees seized the opportunity to socialize.

Curious about entrepreneurship?

Whether you have a fully-realized idea and are already working on the solution or it’s early-stage and you are ready to explore, Velocity is a community that welcomes and supports you.

Throughout the Spring term, Velocity hosts a range of events, runs programs and creators spaces: the Velocity Science lab (ESC 319), for students solving science-based problems, and Velocity Digital (SCH 228), a 5G-enabled space to build and develop software and hardware.
